Day 44: Righteousness Exalts a Nation

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 14:28–35

Righteousness is not only an individual virtue—it has the power to shape families, communities, and even entire nations. In this passage, Solomon emphasizes how righteousness and wisdom in leadership bring stability and honor, while sin and folly lead to disgrace and destruction.

Leadership requires accountability (v. 28). Solomon highlights the relationship between leaders and the people they serve. A great population reflects wise and just leadership, while the decline of a people points to poor leadership.
